There are some of my idiosyncrasies you need to put up when we work together. Here I am listing them below.

Asynchronous Communication

I like to work asynchronously which means we don’t have to be at each other’s throats all day.

You can write succinctly

I once had a teammate who would chat too much, his only intention was to troll me. This behaviour is toxic and I don’t see us going a long way.

OKR Framework is essential for all actions

If you have never heard about the OKR framework made popular by Andy Grove of Intel, I suggest you at least have a rudimentary idea of what it is and should be willing to use it. I always prefer to use the OKR (Objective and Key Results) framework, which is the framework used by Intel and Google. It makes complex things simple, otherwise you might end up chasing a lot of actions and spreading yourself too thin.

Lead and Lag Measures.

I need my dopamine hits and lead measures tend to demotivate everyone. So you should know what is are these two terms. Read about the same here

Jobs to be done framework

Also, it would help if you read up on Clayton Christenson’s “Job to be done” framework. It is extremely counter-intuitive but it will help you sell your product or service better. It will take you deep into the mind of your prospective buyer.

I don’t sell my time (as I am not a blue-collar worker.)

I am very lazy, I don’t sell my time by the hour, and I try to sell my experience. When I say I am selling my (28 years of) experience, it is a condensed time and it is a better deal for me and you. It is effortless for me and you also, benefit from the experience. I find this is the most difficult concept for people to understand as people who sell time have become more expensive than people who sell their experience, this means that clients end up wanting to buy time from people who sell experience. I should have become a plumber or a carpenter, I know.

Ok, Manoj, cut the crap! Tell me what skills do you have.
